Quartzsite Chamber of Commerce Events

Throughout the year, the Quartzsite Chamber of Commerce hosts and co-hosts a variety of events including:

Monthly: Member Meetings first Thursday of each month: 6pm-7pm General Membership Meeting, 7pm-8pm Board of Directors Meeting

January: Hosting the Quartzsite Hi Jolly Parade & Camelpalooza. Representing Quartzsite businesses at Tourism Expo, BlueWater Resort & Casino in Parker, Arizona and Quartzsite’s Big Tent Expo in Quartzsite, Arizona.

February: Hosting the Quartzsite Off-Road Rendezvous.

March: Representing Quartzsite businesses at Buck Connors Western Days in Quartzsite, Arizona. Co-hosting Moonshot Arizona Pitch Competition with La Paz County Economic Development and the Town of Quartzsite for the Quartzsite area.

Description: The annual Hi Jolly Parade honors Quartzsite's historic connection to the U.S. Army Camel Corps led by Hadji Ali (nicknamed "Hi Jolly"). This camel-themed parade features live camels, themed floats, and community participation, culminating at the Camelpalooza event at the historic Judge George Hagely adobe site .

The dedication of the Hagely General Store monument in Quartzsite, Arizona, was on April 12, 2025. The monument is located at 750 W Main St on the corner of Moon Mountain and Main Street, Quartzsite.
The monument is dedicated to the life and legacy of Anton Hagely and his entire family, but mostly his son Judge George Hagely also known as “The Marrying Judge.”
Thank you to our Quartzsite Town Council, Quartzsite Chamber of Commerce, Historical Society, local business owners, Mark Goldberg and many citizens but most of all, thank you to the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus, Lost Dutchman Chapter 5917+4 for allowing us to be part of your doings. It was "Satisfactory" by far!

Moonshot's 6th Annual Rural Arizona Pitch Competition for entrepreneurs and business owners (aka, a showcase like you see on ABC's Shark Tank)!

Participants competed for the chance to win local tour stop prize money and more! In October 2025, winners traveled to Prescott, Arizona to compete for the state title and $10,000 in cash, $5,000 in cash for "Crowd Favorite”, and several NEW cash prizes! Winners from each tour stop received two complimentary tickets to the finals event and a one-night stay at the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Prescott, Arizona.

Participation is FREE OF CHARGE, thanks to title sponsors Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Arizona Commerce Authority, and APS, statewide and regional sponsors, and local sponsors.

The first annual Quartzsite Off-Road Expo was held on the Martin Event Field located at 31 W Main Street in Quartzsite, AZ 85346
Food court, off-road vehicles, off-road maps & info, and more! Vendors were: Lazer Star Lights, Arizona State Parks & Trails, Quartzsite Off-Road, Just Money, UTV Tour Co., GY6 Off-Road, Southwest Trailer, Master Graphics, Anything Off Road, Morgan Motorsports, Pro Precision . . .
FEED THE VETERANS UTV Off Road Poker Run was also at the Expo; 100% of proceeds of the of the Poker Run donated to the Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance.
All types of Off-Road Vehicles are Welcome.

The Hi Jolly Parade arrived at the historic Hagely General Store Adobe to begin the Quartzsite Camelpalooza 2025 shortly after 10:30 am.
Many crafters, product vendors and food vendors were in attendance.
Rocky Watson, Jade Street Band, and Country Gentlemen Entertainment presented shows.
January 11, 2025
The Annual Hi Jolly Parade occurred Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Beginning at 8:30 AM the Hi Jolly Parade staged at Moon Mountain Ave and Kenoyer Ave. At 10:00 AM SHARP it traveled south on Moon Mountain to end at the historic Hagely General Store Adobe to begin the Quartzsite Camelpalooza 2025.
The theme was “Camels Rock” and folks gathered their camels, floats, pets, bikes, dance & music groups, classic cars, off-road vehicles, bicycles, etc. and made it a great parade! It’s a wonderful opportunity for businesses to show off too! And the entry is FREE! All groups, organizations, businesses, and individuals encouraged to participate.
The 2025 Christmas Light Parade was a great success! Santa and Mrs Claus thank everyone for their hard work in planning and producing the parade.
There were so many amazing floats list up in splendor. It was wonderful to be a part of the biggest and best Christmas Light Parade that Quartzsite has ever had.
